About me
It is my biggest passion to help people to live their life to the fullest, reaching their full potential. It starts with letting go of old stories, self-limiting beliefs, and subconscious patterns ingrained within us.
How it all started …
Growing up in Germany, I was consistently told that I wasn’t good enough. I experienced sexual abuse and I didn’t feel supported by my family which led me to leave home at a very young age. Not having a support system and having been put down for years led me to have deep-seated, self-limiting beliefs and, at times, overwhelming fear of abandonment. These feelings stuck with me for the bigger part of my life…Until something shifted dramatically, and I realised that there was another way.
At the age of 17 I set out travelling and living abroad in the search for meaning, finding myself or, should I say, returning to my true self.
After more than five years living in the States, Australia, Asia, Central and South America, and travelling back and forth between Europe and Australia, I finally realised that what I was looking for was nowhere to be found but within myself. It took me years to fully understand how my upbringing had affected me and all my relations, and it sparked my healthy “obsession” with psychology and understanding the human mind. It was time to step out of the victim mode and into my power; learning to see the beauty in absolutely everything.
Mindfulness, mediation, breathwork and plant medicines have been the most profound tools i’ve experienced. They help me create a deep awareness and change the way I see myself and the world around me. I finally learned what it means to LOVE MYSELF, which changed my whole life.
I became more conscious and aware of the thoughts that drive my emotions and actions, which has helped me overcome my abandonment issues, social anxiety, and many unhelpful automatic behavioural patterns. My energy has completely shifted, and I can watch situations as they flow naturally. I have complete trust that the universe always has my back, that everything always works out for me, and as if by magic, all my dreams are manifesting into reality.
In 2015, I was living in China and teaching English to classes of 50 - 55 students, which was quite overwhelming at times. I was searching for ways to help elevate stress, be more present and be my absolute best self with every single student, always. I started learning about breathwork, meditation and mindfulness. My daily practice allowed me to observe my monkey mind and release the mental chatter. I became more patient and relaxed with my students during my classes, aware of my triggers, and could deal with any situation from an open space with a calm mind.
The following year I was fortunate enough to go to one of the Dalai Lama’s teachings in India, which deepened my love for all these incredible, mind-altering practices and lead me to start my deep dive into the world of Buddhism.
My visit to South America gave me the opportunity to learn from several potent plant teachers, allowing me to open my heart and raise my vibration in ways I could have never imagined. Here I completely fell in love with the beautiful, gracious spirit of cacao.
I am a strong believer that each of us has a powerful healer within ourselves and that the only limits we have are the limits we create in our minds. We are magnificent co-creators in this incredible gift of life.
I look forward to guiding you back in alignment with your truest self.
With all my love,
Soph
